Simutrans Manual - How to build tracks with overhead lines

The overhead line building tool is used to electrify rail tracks. It is usually found in the rail tools toolbar:

The overhead building tool shown above builds overhead lines over the rail block you click (A rail block is one track, the track between two signals or the track between a signal and a track end. You can also say that a block is the area between signals and/ or track ends)

If you click on the block with the crossing and the block between the signal and the track end, the result should look like this.

To delete the overhead lines, delete the track tiles with overhead support and rebuild the track tiles.
