Simutrans Manual - Station extension buildings

Station extension building will extend station's storage capacity and/or give the stations completely new abilities, like mail transfer. The available extension buildings depend on the pak set.

Mail Offices

Mail offices will accept and store mail and packages. Every station, including bus stops and truck loading bays, which is equipped with an mail offices may accept mail from elsewere. I also stores mail from the area which will have to be delivered to its destination. A similar rating as for passengers will be applied for transporting mail.
